Statheros Academy

Homeschool parents embody Statheros.

Home educators wake up each day committed to your students’ development and growth day in and day out. You go to sleep thinking about how the day went, what went well, and what you can improve on tomorrow.

Sometimes, you wake up in the middle of the night and can’t sleep because you are thinking about what your child needs, and how you can best support them.

We understand because we have been home educating our own kids for 19 combined years and counting. We are in this for the long haul.

Statheros Academy and My Homeschool Hub exist to serve you.

We understand how hard it is to make the decision to homeschool, everything that goes with it day in and day out-all the highs and the lows, and remain committed to homeschooling. We have both homeschool kids of all ages, from preschool to high school.

We have experienced life as homeschoolers, through all of the ups and downs that life with kids brings, dealt with the challenges of educating children with special needs, many different learning styles, and have homeschooled both boys and girls.

We have walked the walk, we get it, we get you.

We have a deep-rooted passion to help people learn about homeschooling and support and encourage new homeschoolers. We love homeschooling, but the reality is that it can be really hard, especially the first few years. We have stumbled and made mistakes, and it is our deep desire to help new families avoid some of those difficulties.

With world events and the current culture climate, we feel stronger than ever about the importance of homeschooling and will be a barrier for families in light of government overreach.

We are motivated and passionate about running an independent school. God has directed us to help and protect everything we can for all homeschoolers, regardless of your personal beliefs. We are here for you.

We are, and will remain committed to serving the Statheros families in the homeschool community through Statheros Academy and My Homeschool Hub.

Christian Home Educators of Colorado (CHEC)

CHEC has served homeschoolers in Colorado since 1990 through conferences, seminars, resources, legal work, and more. CHEC provides an Independent School providing record-holding to homeschool families, promote lobby efforts at the Capitol, and sponsor Introductory and High School seminars all across the state alongside the annual Rocky Mountain Homeschool Conference. Also provides Colorado homeschool families with encouragement through the free Update magazine.

Rocky Mountain Education Connection

Colorado’s premiere site for the most popular and in-depth FAQ on the law along with the casual, straight-from-the-hip and often funny “Rookie Workshop for New Homeschoolers”, both provided by Cindy Englan Wentz, a homeschooler with 22 years’ experience. RMEC is also the only statewide website for unschoolers in Colorado and surrounding states. Whether you’re merely curious, or trying to figure out how to “ease in” to unschooling, or you’re a veteran looking for support, inspiration and networking, this is the place!

Contact Cindy Englan Went for a private phone consultation.

Spiral Academy

Spiral Academy is an independent school that provides an alternative to filing an NOI or LOI and test scores with a local school district.

Homeschool Lifeline provides training and resources for parents of homeschool and distance learning children through video courses, live online video meetings, and private coaching groups. Ongoing, instructional videos from a homeschool mom who was previously a public school teacher are currently being produced for elementary subject areas as well.
