Private Groups 

ACTS

ACTS is a private, volunteer-based, Christian homeschool co-op designed to provide opportunities for student enrichment and fellowship. They meet at Rocky Mountain Calvary in Colorado Springs. Classes are held on Fridays during the fall and spring semesters. Students may enroll for one or more classes each semester. Each parent serves the co-op during their children’s class times in an assigned volunteer role such as a teaching assistant, nursery care-giver or hall monitor.

Colorado Springs Homeschool Sports League

This league is a non-competitive league which means they do not have rankings and scores are not saved. Their focus is on fostering teamwork, building skills, and having a lot of fun! It’s a safe place to learn a new sport or perfect an old one. All made possible by our wonderful homeschool community.

High Country Home Educators

Hosted at New Life Church, they offer a support group, classes, and an independent school. Separate fees and tuition apply for membership, classes, and independent school. Classes start at $60 each, additional class and supply fees apply.

H.O.M.E (Helping Our Members Educate)

Home is a support group that offers activities (for kids, moms, and families), field trips, a chess club, and special events. Membership is $25 for the year.

Military Christian Homeschoolers

This is a group for Christian Homeschoolers in the military stationed in Colorado Springs, Colorado (for get togethers). Of course, any military from other areas are welcome for discussions, postings, and idea sharing. We range from Preschool age and up.

Nature’s Classroom Homeschool Group

These classes are designed to introduce homeschoolers to all nature has to offer, especially in a homeschooling situation.

St. Gabriel’s Roman Catholic Homeschoolers (SGRCH)

SGRCH is a diocesan-wide group of homeschooling families sponsored by St. Gabriel parish. Their hope and purpose is to support, mentor, and enrich one another as they journey through the adventures of homeschooling.

Twelve Stones Homeschool Co-Op

The families of Twelve Stones gather as friends in the pursuit of academic excellence to honor God. Families in the Colorado Springs area interested in the classical model of education, a Biblical worldview, and the support of a caring Christian community, are invited to join in on the adventure.

Charlotte Mason in the Rockies

A book study group that meets the second Tuesday of the month to discuss Mason’s philosophy and methods of education. Email Jennifer Taylor taylorga34@msn.com if you would like to join!

Aspen Grove Educational Community

This is a community in the Tri-Lakes/Colorado Springs area located in the beautiful foothills of the Rocky Mountains. Charlotte Mason homeschool families are brought together in authentic community through gathering weekly. Studies in songs, pictures, composers, nature, geography, handicrafts and field trips included. If interested in joining or finding out more about this group please contact the community leader via email.

Cultivate Community

Cultivate was birthed out of a need to serve the growing number of Christian home educators in the area who are cultivating a lifelong love of learning through Charlotte Mason’s methods. This community provides training, resources, nature groups and book clubs for all ages, Mother Culture, and other various opportunities for family growth, along with support and fellowship. Regular meetings will be held on the 3rd Tuesday of each month September – May (excluding December and March) Each meeting is followed by fellowship time. Nursing children welcome.

District 20 The Classical Academy College Pathways

The school offers pre- collegiate courses (junior high and high school level) in a hybrid-online format, while also providing concurrent enrollment options for early college courses at PPCC. College Pathways is located on the PPCC Rampart Range Campus property to facilitate an innovative program for home schooling families desiring a pathway to college level courses for their college ready high school students. We are excited about the future and look forward to serving our home school families as we “Bring the College Journey Home”.

Mountain Vista Homeschool Academy

Dedicated to providing an educational enrichment experience for home schooled students. This program offers innovative & hands-on educational experiences promoting social & academic growth in a dynamic learning environment. Classes for grades K to 6 are offered on Tuesday. Classes for grades K to 6 are offered on Wednesday. Classes for grades 4 to 9 are offered on Thursday. Classes for grades 7 to 12 are offered on Friday. 

District 49 Rocky Mountain Classical Academy

Offering K-8 students a one-day a week fun, academic and content-rich program that works in partnership and compliments the goals of home schooling families. High school students attend one or two days, depending on the number of courses taken, with a minimum of four courses required. Silver  winner of The Best of Colorado Springs Contest. 

District 49 Concurrent Enrollment (9-12th grades)

Offers job training and free college classes. Concurrent Enrollment, now offered at all D49 high schools, provides on- and off-campus college courses for transfer to 4-year universities and 2-year associate degrees, and hands-on career & technical training through the Career Start Program. Earn free college credits while finishing high school graduation requirements.

Pikes Peak Early College is a public blended online public high school to empower a diverse student population through individualized learning paths, personal educational growth, and college and career readiness coaching. PPEC provides students a high quality blended online college preparatory experience with affordable, flexible, individualized choices to college and career.

Haven School cultivates a life-long love of learning by providing rich academic and arts enrichment courses in the classical tradition practiced in an intentionally beautiful learning environment alongside an invested collective of teachers, parents, and community support. Haven School is a tuition-free classical nature immersion program serving homeschool families in the Colorado Springs area. Educational Resource Center “ERC” at the East Branch

The ERC provides hands-on materials for families wanting to enrich their children’s education or help them improve their skills. Math, science, social studies, and language arts kits, as well as art and music resources and computer software are available for families with students of all ages to use. The have subject kits, science lab equipment, classes and guided activities for homeschoolers. 

PPLD Homeschool Hub

The PPLD Homeschool Hub is an amazing resource for homeschoolers in Colorado Springs. They have programs, contests, curriculum exchanges, a monthly science lab, and detailed listings of resources available to homeschoolers.
